EOBI Pension Decreased Latest News May 2020

The EOBI Pensioners were awarded an increased in monthly pension of Rs. 8500 from Rs. 6500; which is now again decreased to its previous rate. The Ministry of Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development and Law Minister Farogh Naseem has made an observations that EOBI has not yet finalized their Acturial Valuations from concerned ministry. And they are increasing the EOBI monthly pension which would create a problem in further for the government and EOBI pensioners as well. Therefore, the decision of increase in EOBI pension has been reversed - decreased to its old rate of Rs. 6500. This month (May 2020) the pensioners would get their old pension. while the increase which they have received which is amounting to Rs. 12500 is not yet decided which is to be recovered or not?
